Dr. Fred R. David

Dr. Fred R. David is a researcher and author of Strategic Management: Concepts and Cases, which has been used at more than 400 colleges and universities. Published by Prentice Hall in six languages, Dr. David’s books have led the field of strategic management for nearly two decades (www.prenhall.com/david). Dr. David is the author of more than 100 referred publications, including many articles in prestigious journals.

His recent “History of Ocean Isle Beach” book was recently published by Donning Publishers (www.oceanislehistory.com). He has presented research papers at numerous professional meetings. For the last two years, Fred has focused his time, effort, skills, and interest on ancient history, and conducted extensive research on UFOs and ancient religious writings.

His latest research findings are assimilated in the new book “UFO Christianity Connection: Fact or Fiction.”

Fred David received a BS Degree in Mathematics and an MBA Degree from Wake Forest University and a PhD in General Management from the University of South Carolina. He has served on the faculty at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, East Carolina University, Mississippi State University, and Auburn University. He currently is a Professor of Management at Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina.

He resides at Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina with his wife Joy. They have three grown children, Forest, Byron, and Meredith.
