Evidence of Christ in Tulum

Tulum is one of the most intriguing and mysterious of the Mayan cities. Temple Complex with the Castillo in the background In fact, it is not a city at all but a temple complex devoted to the teaching and worship of the Descending God.

Within the walls of Tulum, artifacts have been found dating back to the first century AD, a stele exists which dates to the fifth century AD while much of the architecture dates to the 12th century AD.

In addition the surrounding areas clearly show occupation from as early as the 3rd Century BC or what we call the Pre-classic period of the Maya.

Tulum and the Descending God

Descending God over the entrance of the Temple of the Descending God Tulum is the home of the Descending God. The Descending God has been so named by the archaeological community because He is always shown with his feet in the air as if he is descending from the sky.

Many people, including anthropologists, archaeologists and guides have erroneously stated that the Descending God is only found in Tulum. This has been done out of ignorance or in some cases a simple desire to skirt the entire issue of the Descending God and what He potentially represents.

12-21-12 – Maya Countries Expect Boom in Tourism

Mexican government officials are predicting a surge of visitors to the five southern states that comprise the country’s Maya region. In Belize, which bills itself as “heartland of the Maya,” airlines have committed tens of thousands of extra seats to accommodate projected interest from foreign visitors. In Guatemala, the country with the most living Maya, officials predict a 10 percent across-the-board increase in tourism. The Maya end of the world prediction for 12-21-12 at 7:12 am EST is leading to an economic boom.

“2012 will be a momentous occasion, not only for Belize’s large Maya population, but for all Belizeans,” said Yanick Dalhouse, the Belize Tourism Board’s Director of Marketing. “Given the amount of interest we’re seeing from around the world, it’s generating global excitement as well.”

Dalhouse is referring to the year 2012′s significance as the end of the Maya Long Count calendar, a 5,125-year period of time which ends exactly on Gregorian calendar date December 21, 2012, the winter solstice. The date was inscribed in stone 1300 years ago near modern-day Tabasco, Mexico and its actual significance is debated among academics and theorists. There are hundreds of books on the subject and probably hundreds of theories, but the implication for Guatemala, southern Mexico, and Belize is clear and immediate: more visitors.

This region — along with parts of Honduras and El Salvador — make up the Mundo Maya, a diverse tropical region which includes the flat lowlands of the Yucatan peninsula and the verdant high country of Guatemala. A vast kingdom of city-states once dominated this region, but by 900 A.D. the Maya had abandoned their grand urban centers to Mother Nature, who hid them for half a millennium. Today, some ten million Maya descendants still live in the region and speak 30 indigenous Mayan languages.

In the southern Mexican states of Campeche, Chiapas, Quintana Roo, Tabasco and Yucatán, officials are expecting 52 million visitors next year (both domestic and international), and are planning over 500 Maya cultural events throughout the year. President Felipe Calderon announced this at a special summer solstice press conference in 2011 to launch Mexico’s Maya 2012 tourism efforts.

Meanwhile, the city of Tapachula has erected a countdown clock in the town square and resorts along the Riviera Maya are planning special reenactments of the Maya ball game and Sacred Mayan Journey, in which hundreds of paddlers travel in canoes to the island of Cozumel to pay homage to the goddess Ixchel. There are academic Maya studies symposiums being held in Antigua, Uxmal, and Belize

City in 2012 and plenty of still-unannounced concerts and gatherings.

Lucy Fleming, a lodge owner in Belize and co-chair of the National Maya 2012 Committee, which is made up of representatives from the Belize Tourism Board, the National Institute of Culture and History, and industry partners, says, “Living in the heartland of the Maya, we sometimes lose sight of the fact that the rest of the world actually knows very little of this fascinating civilization and their incredible achievements.”

Ms Fleming’s resort property, the Lodge at Chaa Creek, will be hosting a year of activities, special tours, solstice and equinox ceremonies, workshops, and seminars “to introduce the world to the marvels of the ancient Maya civilization.”

The idea, she says, is “to celebrate 2012 with the respect, excitement and significance it deserves.”

Katie Valk, founder and director of Belize-Trips.com, is a Belize travel specialist who is already seeing increased bookings for 2012 over last year. When clients ask about visiting Maya communities, she often steers them to the southern Toledo district, where several programs try to ensure rural Maya communities see some of the trickle-down from tourism.

People in the Maya communities of Toledo, she says, are divided on the issues of oil drilling and hardwood extraction from protected areas, which is not difficult to understand with so many people living below the poverty level.

“We need to include these people in any benefits derived [from tourism],” says Ms  Valk, “and offer attractive employment opportunities working to protect, rather than destroy, the environment.”

Major airlines have already committed approximately 37,000 additional airline seats to Belize in 2012, compared to 2011 according to Anthony Hunt, a representative of the tourism sector on Belize’s Civil Aviation Authority Board who claims there is no evidence that this increase is due to the Mayan calendar.

Hunt says the reason for the new seats is “confidence of the airlines in the strength, stability and growth of the Belize tourism product,” but that product is currently being sold under the 2012 tourism board tagline, “Where will you be when the world begins anew?”

Gaspar Pedro González, a Guatemalan novelist and professor at University Mariano Gálvez, grew up in a Q’anjobal Maya village in the Cuchumatan Mountains and has some concerns about the tourism apocalypse.

“Most Maya are not in the capital,” he said, “they’re out in the villages and communities.” And most traditional tourism infrastructure “is not in Maya hands. It is in white people’s hands, the Ladinos, they benefit more from tourism economically. But if foreigners want to visit the more remote villages, to visit this essence of the culture, this essence of life, they should go to the smallest villages where they have conserved the Mayan languages and form of life. Surely the Maya will benefit from this tourism.”

In 2012, he says, visitors should seek out the opportunity “to meet actual Maya, see their customs, their traditions, their form of life, and learn about their mysticism and philosophy.” Even though, he says, in rural Guatemala, “There aren’t as many comforts, only simple pensiones. But that is where you’ll find the essence of life and the essence of the culture.”

Whether or not the Maya benefit from the interest in their culture generated by a foretold (or not) Armageddon will depend largely on the priorities of travelers. The year will prove a success for native communities only if foreigners desire more than to rubberneck at the end of the world.

Synopsis of 2011 UFO Stories

Every month of 2011 revealed UFO news stories to digest, wonder about, or laugh at — depending on your point of view or belief about UFOs. The History Channel ran many documentary new episodes ranging from Bigfoot in Helen, Georgia to biblical implications of ancient UFO sightings.  The whole UFO phenomena is becoming more and more accepted and discussed globally, rather than being viewed as absurd.  NASA in 2011 revealed finding several earth-link planets in the universe.

Ancient UFOs; scores of videos and photographs; military and government officials offering credible testimony; thousands of pages of previously classified documents; disk and dorito-shaped craft; an official state highway marker erected to commemorate the most widely publicized UFO abduction story in history; petitions sent to the White House asking the Obama administration to release all UFO information; an alleged alien spaceship hiding near the planet Mercury; an ET reportedly photographed standing in a Brazilian rainforest; and a theologian who says religious believers are ready to share a pew with aliens.

These and much more were all there for consideration in 2011. With the proliferation of so many video cameras and phone cams, it’s not surprising that, according to the Mutual UFO Network — the largest privately funded UFO research organization in the world — there were 67 percent more reports of unidentified flying objects in 2011, compared to 2008.

In early April 2011, the FBI created a new website, The Vault, which gives the public an opportunity to view documents in an online “electronic reading room.” Some of the 2,000-plus documents are about UFOs. While the U.S. government has always maintained UFOs don’t warrant any serious investigation, documents from the late 1940s indicate FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s interest in UFOs. Pictured is a 1947 document sent by a Wisconsin agent to Hoover, concerning a small, disc-shaped object found at a fairground that contained a photoelectric cell, electric motor and a propeller. While agents felt it was “made by some juvenile,” it’s noteworthy that they felt it important enough to inform Hoover about it.

Is The Moon Home Base For God’s Watchers?

The Apollo 11 space flight landed the first humans on the moon on July 20, 1969. Launched from Florida on July 16, Apollo 11 was crewed by Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin Jr. On July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin landed in the Sea of Tranquility and became the first humans to walk on the moon. Their landing craft, Eagle, spent 21 hours and 31 minutes on the lunar surface, while Collins orbited above in the command ship, Columbia. The three astronauts returned to Earth with 47.5 pounds of lunar rocks and landed in the Pacific Ocean on July 24. Five subsequent Apollo missions also landed astronauts on the moon, the last in December 1972. In six Apollo spaceflights, twelve men walked on the moon.

Some YouTube documentaries about the Apollo 11 mission are given below, and reveal that the moon may be home base for UFOs. Other videos are available for the other Apollo moon missions.

Comparison of Baptism Painting and China UFO

Comparing the Famous “Baptism of Christ” Picture With Pictures of the July 7, 2010 UFO over Hangzhou, China

The famous painting titled “The Baptism of Christ” hangs on the wall in the
Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, England.

The painting was done in 1710 by Flemish artist Aert De Gelder. The painting depicts a UFO shining beams of light down on John the Baptist and Jesus.

The white circular UFO depicted here in the famous painting is quite similar to pictures taken on July 7, 2010 of the UFO in China. On the night of July 7, 2010, a UFO flew into the airspace of the Xiaoshan Airport near Hangzhou, the capital of east China’s Zhejiang Province. The airport closed all flights in and out from 9 pm to 10 pm as the UFO was tracked on radar. Around 1am that evening just after the airport had reopened, Hangzhou residents reported seeing large, brightly lit UFO in the sky.

Two pictures of the UFO over China taken on July 7, 2010 are provided below.

Tracking Underwater UFOs? – AUTEC

Similar to Area 51 near Groom Lake, Nevada, but located more than 2,000 miles away, is the US Navy’s top secret Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center(AUTEC).

This sophisticated facility is on Andros Island in the Bahamas just west of Nassau. As indicated in the five 8-minute History Channel videos below, some scientists and researchers believe the USA monitors UFOs coming and going from near the AUTEC facility.

The videos feature interviews with former AUTEC employees and managers as well as scientists and researchers on-site.

http://www.ufo-blogger.com/2009/05/history-channel-ufo-hunters-navy.html

Located on the southeast corner of the Bermuda

Triangle where planes and ships have disappeared, AUTEC

includes three test ranges: the Weapons Range, the Acoustic Range, and the FORACS Range. These ranges are located in the Tongue of the Ocean (TOTO), a deep-ocean basin approximately 100 nautical miles long by 15 nautical miles wide with depths as great as 6,000 feet.

The Weapons Range is capable of tracking up to 63 in-water objects simultaneously and provides AN/WQC-2A Sonar Communications Sets and Bi-Directional Communications Nodes for underwater voice communications with mobile underwater objects at extreme depths.

AUTEC’s in-air tracking is provided by radars and other systems out 500 nautical miles and to a height of 70,000 feet.

Was There A UFO At The Annunciation?

As described in Luke 1: 26-38, the “Annunciation” is when God the Father sent archangel Gabriel to inform Virgin Mary that she had been chosen to conceive and give birth to the Son of God – Jesus. Mary was a woman scholar, which was a bit unusual for biblical times. As Gabriel made the announcement, Mary is pictured in the two paintings below reading a book in a study. Notice what possibly is a UFO in the first painting and beams of light from a UFO in the second paintings.

The first painting, titled “The Annunciation,” was ?painted by Carlo Crivelli in 1486. The painting is on display in the National Gallery in London. Notice that a UFO is shining a beam of light ?through the house wall and down onto the top of Mary’s head.

The second painting is by the Netherlandish master artist Jan van Eyck and was completed between 1435.  Titled “The Annunciation,” this famous oil painting hangs today in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.  This picture shows the seven rays of light (from the UFO?) coming through the upper window to the left, with a dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit following the same path.  Biblical scholars believe this is the moment god’s plan for salvation is set in motion, with the old era of the Law being transformed into the new era of Grace.

The inscription of this painting show Archangel Gabriel’s words  “AVE GRA PLENA ” or “Hail, full of grace.” Mary modestly draws back and responds, “ECCE ANCILLA  DNI” or “Behold the handmaiden of the Lord.” Her words are painted upside down for God above to see.

THE UFO CHRISTIANITY CONNECTION – FACT OR FICTION?

A New Book from noted Author and Researcher FRED R. DAVID

What Associations Did Ancient Civilizations Have With UFOs, and What are the Implications for Christianity and the 12-21-12 Mayan End Date?

As early humans gazed into the sky at night, they were more certain than mankind today that “we are not alone in the universe.” God expects human beings to think and strive to become all that we can become, as indicated in Romans 12:2 which says: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Thus, this book aims to renew your mind and perhaps strengthen your faith by expanding your knowledge of the UFO Christianity connection.

Most people every day conduct their lives with an understanding of religion based largely on what they were taught as a child or adolescent by parents, family, and friends. This is generally a good thing, but being open minded to new discoveries and knowledge is important. Blind faith in Christianity is admirable, but expanding one’s knowledge and realizing there may be a scientific basis for events in the Bible, may strengthen one’s faith. This book examines current knowledge from paleontology, archeology, geology, anthropology, astronomy, physics, and genetics as related to UFOs. The missing link between science and religion may be UFOs, or more specifically the beings inside those craft. Science and religion are much more closely intertwined than most people realize.

This book examines writings of the Maya, Aztec, Egyptians, Sumerians, and Indians, which indicate that UFOs played a significant role in how ancient civilizations lived. People thousands of years ago for example somehow built megalithic structures without heavy lifting equipment, predicted celestial events without telescopes, and drew similar pictures of sky people. This book examines the UFO connection with many topics in the Bible and will give you a unique perspective to engage others in discussing Angels, God, UFOs, Satan, Giants, the Underworld, the Flood, Enoch, Atlantis, Jesus, the Sons of God, 12-21-12, and Christianity.

This book examines evidence across discipline, distance, and time that brings to life the close association that ancient civilizations had with ancient astronauts – which they called gods or sky people. The governing body of the Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican, is accelerating its Program to assure humanity that star visitors are real, are in the Bible, and are children of God, too. The Vatican’s Monsignor Corrado Balducei recently proclaimed on Italian national television that “encounters people have had and do have with star visitors are real, not a delusion, and not a case of demon possession.”

This book provides thirty three color pictures and more than one hundred examples. Implications of UFO evidence for the upcoming 12-21-12 Mayan Last Day and Christian doctrine are provided. This book is exceptionally up-to-date, concise, enjoyable, and presents important information for people of all faiths on all continents. Excellent documentation is provided throughout, including YouTube videos, History Channel documentaries, and web sites, to facilitate your own further research. This book will enable you to decide for yourself whether the UFO Christianity Connection is “Fact or Fiction.”
